October 2026 Major Version Release
FusionRMS SaaS has received a major platform update, rolled out progressively through October. The release introduces a modernized containerized deployment model and expands core platform capabilities across search, usability, integration and electronic records management.
- Advanced Query provides more flexible ways to search, explore and interact with records and data.
- FusionHelp provides in-application AI assistance to support navigation and use of FusionRMS functionality, without accessing customer record data.
- A rebuilt API expands available endpoints, improves performance and introduces additional capabilities including attachment support.
- Electronic records management capabilities have been expanded with annotations, redaction, version history and Form Manager.
- The upgraded containerized deployment model provides a stronger foundation for performance, scalability, maintainability and ongoing platform development.
FusionRMS Desktop: Legacy Platform Risk & Compatibility
FusionRMS Desktop relies on technologies that are closely tied to the Windows operating system. As active product development is now focused on FusionRMS SaaS, continued use of legacy Desktop environments may introduce increasing compatibility, stability and operational risk over time.
- Future Windows updates may affect OS-dependent components and application compatibility.
- Compatibility issues may impact application availability, system stability or access to records.
- Continued reliance on legacy infrastructure can increase the operational effort required to maintain a stable and supported records environment.
- New product capabilities and ongoing feature development are focused on FusionRMS SaaS.
Moving to FusionRMS SaaS reduces reliance on customer-managed infrastructure while providing access to our modernized platform, ongoing updates and continued product investment.
